This page contains important information about ordering through fabrication.co.nz. We realise it's a bit of a bore, but we strongly recommend that you take the time to read and understand our terms and conditions before ordering, as placing an order confirms your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
minimum order: the minimum order for all products is 1. Please note that all our single fabrics are sold in 25cm increments. Therefore, if you want to buy 25cm of fabric, your order quantity will be 1. If you want 50cm, then your order quantity will be 2, and so on. Unless otherwise requested, an order quantity of 1 will be cut as a fat quarter (i.e. half the width but twice the length).
prices: all prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD), include GST, and are per unit. As single fabrics are sold in 25cm increments, the price displayed is for 25cm. You'll need to multiply this by 4 to get the per metre price.
payments: we accept VISA and Mastercard payments as well as bank deposit. All credit card payments are processed securely via PayPal (there is no need to create a PayPal account). If you wish to pay via bank deposit then your order will be shipped as soon as payment has cleared. Please note that funds must be received for any orders where payment is to be made by bank deposit within 7 days otherwise the order will be cancelled.
shipping: our aim is to provide you with exceptional customer service. We make every endeavour to ship all orders the day following confirmation, so orders to NZ addresses should reach you within 2-3 working days. Note that baby t-shirts may take 2-3 days to be shipped. For addresses outside of NZ delivery times will differ. All orders are sent via NZ Post. For orders within NZ a flat $5 postage fee applies, regardless of quantity or weight. For orders to Australia a flat $12 postage fee applies. Please contact us for shipping information for orders outside of NZ and Australia. Unfortunately we cannot take responsibility for any orders lost in transit. However, if this does happen please let us know so that we can follow it up with NZ Post.
orders: all products listed on fabrication.co.nz are in stock (unless the product is clearly marked "sold out" or "on "backorder"). However, if for any reason we cannot fulfil your order (for example, you order more of a product than we have in stock) we will contact you immediately to discuss either product subsitution or a refund.
returns policy: we hope that you'll be entirely satisfied with your purchase from fabrication.co.nz. However, if for any reason our products aren't what you expected or there is a fault please contact us so we can put it right. If you do need to return a product, a full refund will be provided so long as returns are received within 14 days of receipt and all goods are returned in the same condition as supplied. Please note that neither the original or return postage will be refunded.
colours: every endeavour has been made to accurately portray colours and images. However, different screen resolutions may mean some colours do not display correctly.
samples: If you are unsure of the colours of any fabrics, we'll happily provide a small sample swatch. For NZ customers, we'll provide up to 3 swatches free of charge. Further swatches will be charged at 50c per swatch. Please contact us to request swatches.
copyright: all images and text on fabrication.co.nz is subject to copyright. You may not reproduce or use any material on this site without our express written consent.
mailing list: at fabrication we have a mailing list and occassionally send out the odd bit of information on upcoming sales, new products, etc. We figure that if you order from us or make an enquiry you're probably keen to know what else we have on offer from time to time, so we'll add you to our mailing list. Please note that if you don't want to be added, just include this in your comments section when you order/enquire. If you don't mind being added, but want to opt out later this is simple - just let us know and we'll remove you immediately - we promise!
and finally: we reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes will take effect immediately.
